“You don’t get it!” I yelled.

“Why would I?” He asked, giving his boot a hit to my stomach.

I fall back, letting out a yelp as he pushed down on my back with his foot, his eyes staring down at me with an uncontrollable hiss.

I look up at him, my nose bloodied from hitting the concrete, warm and sticking firmly to my face.

He leans down, gripping my chin, and giving a smug grin.

“Don’t be so hasty Gwen.”

“Don’t be such a sicko Klare.”

He released but stayed leaned down.

“Why do you think I go after you?” He asked, it was genuine.

“You hav DTI make my life an eternal hell.” I responded.

He laughed, shaking his head. “Sure.”

“Then what is it smart guy?”

I scoffed, “Do you like me or something?”

He paused, and after a bit of hesitation, “No.”

I looked up at him raising a brow, “You don’t seem so sure about that.”

He glared at me smacking me across the face—again.

I since holding my cheek as I laid back against the brick wall.

“Fine! You’re right! I like you!” He snapped, like… he was angry he had feelings for me.

There was this long awkward silence.

“Well then.”

He stayed silent before finally sighing, “I knew I’d regret it if I didn’t say it now.”
