The portal came before I realized it. Like I was ever supposed to know it was coming. My name’s Brightheart, and I live in ThunderClan. Oh? You want to know about the portal? Well…

Before I even knew what had happened, I felt something…wrong. Something wasn’t right. The Clan leader at the time, Firestar, called a meeting as soon as I woke up.

“Cats of ThunderClan!” He yowled. “Something strange has happened near the camp. A portal landed by Sunningrocks this morning, and a strange gray-blue dragon slid out of it.”

I was shocked. Dragon? Portal? What was up with this place?! Anyways…

We found the dragon lying unconsious on the leaf-covered ground. But she woke up when I poked her.

“Oh!” She yelped, startled. “Where am I? This doesn’t look like Pyrrhia!” She leaped to her feet, her wings flailing.

“Sorry,” She said. “I’m Moonwatcher. I come from a place called Pyrrhia, where dragons thrive.” She shifted. Nearly knocking Brambleclaw, the deputy, off his feet.

“I’m Brightheart,” I told her. “Welcome to the land of the warrior cats.”
