Death In The Tower O Dusk

All I could hear was the darkness. All I could feel was the darkness. I could feel its depth, its profoundness, and I could feel its deadly grip. But it was the smell that stung the most. It was the smell of death. I didn't imagine, even chained to the ceiling of this tower, my blood rushing earthwards, soul straining for life, that death could possess an odor. But it was the rotting below that st...

When I was in 11th grade, I received a strange gift from one of my pen pals: how should I call it, an electronic amulet. I twirled the thing around my finger a couple of times, and thought that was the end of its use. It fell on to the ground but I could care less to pick it up.

The next day I learned that the poor dog had swallowed it and the urgent care was called...

IDK

The amulet glowed red in my hand

I knew I needed to destroy it

I knew no one else should bare the curse

So I sat shrouded in darkness

Hacking away at the stone

Begging for it to stop its glow

Then the glow was sucked away

Into a tall tall tower

And now it looms over me, I shall never be free...

The Broken Amulet

The air was crisp, the wind was whistling the moon was full giving off a soft milky glow. The trees shook violently and I just stood in the middle of it all. I continued trying to beat the harsh winds before they beat me. My foot slipped and I slid into a thorn bush that was next to me. The thorns cutting any visible skin. I lay there trying not to move. My thoughts jumbling as I try to find a way...
