Memories adorned with streaks of black

Blooms of red

And tracks of grey

Picked up by rough- knuckled hands

And foreign tongues

To be passed from body to body

Whether or not we experienced it first hand

Or have our own palms riddled with scars

These memories are now ours to hold

So that we may never forget

...

War never changes....

In the war,

You live or die.

It's a not a choice,

You can't surrender,

You live or die.

All the people in the war,

They love or cry.

The fallen soldiers,

They were loved,

Good night.

All the tanks in the war,

The engineers,

They worked hard.

Just to please,

A killing squad.

All the traitors,

They be honest or lie.

Because In the war,

If you get captured,

Every man for himself,

No doubting that...
